DESCRIPCIÓN BOTÁNICA DE LA PLANTA
El agracejo es un pequeño arbusto frondoso, de hasta de 1 a 3 metros, se desarrolla en las laderas secas, en la maleza y setos. Se encuentra con frecuencia en los Alpes del Sur. Es originaria de Europa y Asia.
Su tallos erectos, de color grisáceo, están provistos de fuertes espinas. Tiene hojas más cortas y más anchas en la parte superior que en la base, dentadas y agrupadas en racimos. Las flores amarillas caen en pequeños racimos.
Los frutos son de color rojo y alargado para una tarta dulce y refrescante sabor.
